Take little steps on a daily basis to replenish, refresh, and heal yourself.

  • Grounding or Earthing: take some time to step outside without shoes and put your feet into the sand, dirt, or grass. Go put your hands in the dirt. I love to ruffle the dirt in my flower pots and feel the need for water; the plants seem to like it as well.

  • Reduce Screen Time: thinkPARALLAX said, “Internet activity causes 3.5 percent of global emissions — a number which is expected to double by 2025.”

  • Breathe: take a deep breath in, and slowly let it out.

  • Yoga: “Yoga offers physical and mental health benefits for people of all ages.” Johns Hopkins Medicine

  • Sleep: 40 percent of Americans get less than seven hours of sleep a night, according to a 2013 Gallup poll.

  • Play in the Rain: Channel your inner child and do some open mouth spins outside in the rain
